Forgive me if I am missing something, but why is typing out a post in Kinja so hard? It seems like autocorrect works vastly different here than it does in any other free text field I visit on my iPhone. As a result I usually end up with bizarre typos that I would never see when using a different website.
What gives?

On mobile (android, chrome browser) I constantly get text errors. Words will split in two and get extra letters added, spaces where no space was asked to be placed, random capitalization.... yeah its a nightmare.

Oh god tell me about it. It’ll do everything from changing a word I spelled correctly to when I type the last letter of a word, but instead repeat the part I’ve already typed.
It’s freaking insanity.

I had the same issue on my Windows Phone. The Android phone I got to replace it is better, but it still takes a while to open the reply box.
